Her extensive experience includes serving as Head of Medical for the Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey Team from 2017 to 2024, where she managed player health, injury recovery, and performance optimization. Passionate about empowering individuals, Jade specializes in advanced osteopathic techniques, shockwave therapy, and rehabilitation programs tailored for athletes and the general public. Dennis, a native of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, was born and raised in a military family, which sparked his extensive travels around the world. With over 40 years of experience in Medical Science and Human Performance, including 25 years working with professional and athletic communities, Dennis has built an impressive career. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in 1985, followed by a Master’s of Science in Exercise Physiology and Human Performance in 1987. He then pursued a Medical Doctorate at the University of Florida’s College of Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, graduating in 1990, and completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine there in 1992. Dennis is married to his wife, Cindy, from Alberta, which brought him to Red Deer. Together, they enjoy outdoor activities and are actively involved in their church. He holds certifications as a Strength Coach from the American College of Sports Medicine, a Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and is CPR and AED certified.
Josh Calderon, originally from Red Deer, Alberta, grew up playing soccer in local and college leagues before relocating to Victoria, British Columbia, to advance his career. In 2013, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy and returned to Red Deer, driven by a passion for strength training and injury rehabilitation to serve the Central Alberta community. Since then, he married, spent two years in Vancouver, and recently moved back to Red Deer with his wife and baby daughter. Josh is dedicated to fostering athletic development while bridging the gap between therapy, fitness, and wellness—fields often treated as separate. His professional credentials include certifications as an Athletic Therapist (CATA), Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CSEP), Functional Movement Screen Level 2, Amino NeuroFrequency Therapy Level 2, and PEMF Pulse Certified Level 3. His career highlights also feature roles as a senior student therapist for the Canadian Women’s National Rugby 7’s team and strength coach for the Men’s Red Deer College soccer team in 2013-14.
